Yup, this is me. The one behind all the sarcasm and foul language. My name’s Jessie and I’m the author here at Wine after nine. I’ve always had a passion for writing. I’m a full time work from home mama. It’s awesome to be able to work from home full time and be here with my daughter at the same time. I’ve been blogging for about 4 years. It’s kept me sane in my anxiety filled, dramatic life. I was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD) and depression and blogging has really helped me cope with it, along with my other random hobbies I’ve picked up. One of my goals is to become a mental health advocate. I want to help others find their voice so that they don’t have to suffer in silence. I know how hard it is to not speak up about what is going in your mind. It’s isolating. I am here for anyone who needs to talk. Sometimes talking to someone you don’t know can be very beneficial. Just go over to the ‘Contact me’ button at the top of the page and shoot me an email.
This is my very bubbly, stubborn four year old girl. She is definitely a mini spawn of me, attitude and all. She challenges me more than any other human being I’ve ever met. She’s made me a stronger person because of it though. She is a very vocal 4 year old and will tell you when something isn’t right and she won’t tolerate anyone bullying her either. She is finally at an age where she can be my little minion and do simple tasks for me. She is my toilet paper fetcher. She’s the best little person in my life and I probably wouldn’t be here if I didn’t have her. I use to think that my life didn’t have meaning, but when she entered this world, my life had more meaning than I could of ever imagined.
