Times get rough, I know. I’ve had my fair share of financial struggles. I was always needing extra help. If you are in this situation, here is a list of things you can do to earn a little extra cash.
Facebook Market place:
I am so happy that facebook came out with the market place. Well all know how much stuff comes with having kids. Stuff that they grow out of so quickly. I use the market place on facebook to sell all my old crap. lol. Kids stuff seems to sell fast, as long as it’s clean and in decent condition. I’ve sold a TON of Averie’s stuff that she’s grown out of. Kid grown out of stuff so fast. *Sad face* Tip: If your stuff is clean and in almost new condition like my stuff was and you take good pictures of your items, they are more likely to be bought. You can also use yard sale apps as well; Letgo and offerup but I prefer facebook since I am on there often. Lol
Use your craftiness to your advantage. If you can sew or crochet, or even fix buttons or do alterations, advertise yourself on facebook or craigslist. People love special handmade stuff, especially around the holidays. I know someone who makes a ton of different things. I but pretty much all her stuff. lol.
Last year I advertised myself for house cleaning on the weekends and I’ve actually gotten a few regular clients. I make my own cleaning products which is cheaper than buying any.
Save your change:
I started doing this a while ago. I have this giant vodka bottle (No, I didn’t drink it, I just liked the bottle because it is huge and holds my change) and any time I would acquired any change, it would go into the bottle and every other month or so, I would cash it in and most of the time (If my husband didn’t steal my change) it was an extra $50 or so. It helped!
This took me a while to do because needles going into my body freaks me out but you gotta do what you gotta do, right? It actually isn’t bad at all. I know all plasma places are different but the one I go to near me, CSL Plasma will pay you $50 for the first 5 times you donate if you do it 2 times a week. The payment goes down after that though. You’re not only getting paid for this, you are saving lives. This really helps out a lot because you can donate 2 times a week and this could be gas money or diaper money, which I’ve used it for these to things pretty much every time. If you are healthy enough and weigh at least 110lbs, I highly suggest doing this if you need the extra money.
There’s my list of how to make extra money, the legal way. (I am in Vegas, ya know.) I hope this helped. A lot of people struggle financially and it’s okay to do these things to get the extra help. Don’t limit yourself because you’re embarrassed. When you have kids who depend on you and need diapers and food, beggars can’t be choosers. When your a mom, you’ll do whatever to get your kid what they need. Remember, keep it legal. Lol
